Community Engagement

In the School of Humanities and Languages we recognise the importance of building strong partnerships to support our teaching and research. We regularly engage with a wide range of community, industry and government partners.

Our staff are internationally recognised scholars in the field of Humanities and Languages - exploring the culture and history of generation’s past; while providing the philosophical skills and historical perspectives needed in the contemporary world.

We promote the teaching of Humanities and Languages, mobilise communities and stimulate public debate through a number of activities including:

  • collaborative research projects
  • sponsored scholarships and student prizes
  • public events including lectures and seminars featuring prominent guest speakers
