An understanding of women’s and gender issues will benefit graduates in a wide range of careers, especially those concerned with social policy and justice. Potential employers may include The Commonwealth Office for the Status of Women and state government equivalents, and non-government organisations concerned with women’s and gender issues. The combination of Women's and Gender Studies with other areas of study provides valuable expertise for careers in advocacy, counselling, education, international relations, law, public health, public policy and social work.

Higher Degree Research

UNSW Arts and Social Sciences offers our postgraduate research candidates undertake research through supervision with leading academics to produce an original body of work.
