UNSW Early Career Workshop on Moral and Political Philosophy

The Practical Justice Initiative and the Discipline of Philosophy at the University of New South Wales is organising a justice-focused workshop for early career researchers on Oct 31- Nov 1, 2016 at UNSW, Sydney.

Keynote speakers for the event are:

  • Prof Leif Wenar (King’s College London)
  • Prof Garrett Cullity (University of Adelaide)
  • Prof Susan Dodds (University of New South Wales)

The workshop is designed to give early career researchers an opportunity to discuss their work with distinguished speakers. Topics for the workshop are open within moral and political philosophy.

Successful domestic applicants will receive travel and accommodation expenses. International applicants will receive a contribution to their costs.

Applicants should be within 4 years of their PhD or in the final year of their PhD.

Applicants should send the following information:

  • Paper title
  • 500 word abstract
  • CV

There will also be an opportunity for applicants to discuss research funding and research position opportunities at UNSW. Applicants who are interested in pursuing research funding opportunities should send a short description of their project at the time of application.

Registration for non presenters is free of charge, but numbers are limited.

Deadline for applications is September 22nd, 2016. Please note, as this is a workshop it as a small and intimate event with numbers strictly limited.
